TRYOUT STRUCTURE

  • Program tryouts are open to all players, current members, and prospects.

  • Each grade level tryout totals 90 minutes.

  • Those attending the first tryout are welcome to attend the second tryout at no additional cost.

BOYS MIDDLE SCHOOL & YOUTH PROGRAMS

SouthShore Lacrosse is a year-round program that focuses on player development and exposure to high-level competition in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer seasons. Our Middle School Teams will compete at the AA level, and our Youth Teams will be placed after review of the teams' competition and skill levels each season. Team members will be asked to commit to our summer practice and tournament schedule.  We appreciate that many of our players participate in other sports that may pose potential conflicts with our fall schedule.  

Each team member will receive the following as part of their club fees: 

FALL 2026

  • September / October: 8 Fall Practices

    • 8 Team Practices @ St. Augustine Prep

  • October / November:

    • 2 One-Day Fall Tournaments

      • Where did we go last Fall?NXT Harvest, NAL, Ascent Playday

    • Ascent Alliance Playday w/ Team 11, Fusion, Fusion VA, ProStart & Delco

WINTER 20256/2027

  • Outdoor Skills Sessions @ St. Augustine Prep

  • Sixes Pickup @ Outdoor & Eurosports

SPRING 2027

  • Sunday Practices in March, April, and May (Potential for a Saturday afternoon or periodic weekday evening)

  • OT Spring League (4 Sundays in spring 2027)

  • 1 One-Day Tournament or Playday

SUMMER 2026

  • 10-12 team practices @ St. Augustine Prep (Tuesday and Thursday Evenings)

  • 4 Tournaments
