SouthShore Lacrosse is excited to announce the recent hiring of Girls Program Director Jen Valore as Widener University women’s lacrosse assistant coach. In her role, Valore will support head coach Julie La Zelle in all aspects of the program’s development.
Valore’s prior collegiate coaching experience came as an assistant coach at Temple University and the University of Michigan, respectively. Most recently while at Michigan (2011-2014), she helped lay the foundation for the Wolverine’s first-ever Division I varsity lacrosse program while assisting in the recruitment of the first signing class in program history and in coaching Team One during the program’s inaugural season. During her time at Temple (2004-2006), Valore helped guide the Owls to a share of the Atlantic 10 Championship in 2005 and an A-10 Tournament final appearance in 2006.
Please join the SouthShore Lacrosse Coaching Staff in congratulating Coach Valore on her new role as assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Widener!
