TRYOUT STRUCTURE

  • Program tryouts are open to all players, current and prospective. Each grade level tryout totals 90 minutes.

  • Late summer tryouts will be held for players who cannot attend our traditional Program Tryouts. Conflict dates will be announced in July.

BOYS MIDDLE SCHOOL & YOUTH PROGRAMS

SouthShore Youth Lacrosse is a year-round program operating in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer seasons that focuses on player development and exposure to high-level competition. Team members will be asked to commit to our summer practice and tournament schedule.  Fall and winter opportunities are strongly encouraged. We do appreciate the fact that many of our players are participating in other sports that may pose potential conflicts with our fall and winter schedule.  

Each team member will receive the following as part of their club fees: 

FALL 2024

  • September / October: 8 Fall Practices

    • 8 Team Practices @ St. Augustine Prep

  • October / November: 1 or 2 One-Day Fall Tournaments / Playdays

WINTER 2024/2025

  • Outdoor Skills Sessions @ St. Augustine Prep

  • Indoor Training Sessions @ Wings Training Facility | Voorhees, NJ

SPRING 2025

  • Sunday Practices in March, April, and May (Potential for a Saturday afternoon or periodic weekday evening)

  • NXT Spring League (4 Sundays in spring 2025)

  • 1 One-Day Tournament or Playday

SUMMER 2025

  • 10-12 team practices @ St. Augustine Prep (Tuesday and Thursday Evenings)

  • 4 Tournaments - 2029, 2030, 2031

  • 3 Tournaments - 2032, 2033/34

  • Preseason Compete Day

  • Team Uniform and Shooting Shirt
