Coach Cummins has served as both a player and a coach. He played at La Salle College and as a defenseman for the Explorers, he earned two-time All-American honors. He went on to play at Towson University, where he achieved two-time first-team All-CAA honors and was named team captain in his senior year. 

He is a head coach for the SouthShore Lacrosse Club. he also serves as the Director of Reaction Lacrosse 2.0 training boys lacrosse in Southern New Jersey. Prior to SouthShore and Reaction, he was the Varsity assistant at Lenape High School in Mt. Laurel (N.J.) and coached youth for the Medford Warriors.
